Once upon a time, blue-roofed Stuckey's locations were a familiar sight across America. They served as a welcome oasis for travelers from coast to coast.
Eventually, this national chain fell on hard times. But remnants of its former glory remain on the domestic landscape.

Thank you Rod for posting this, a childhood memory arose today and I thought, wow I havent seen a Stuckeys for 20 years at least, I wondered what happened to a such a huge chain of restaurants that was once such a common sight along nearly any interstate hwy. I appreciate your taking the time to post these pics and your commentary.
